Mary E. Alexander, M.P.H., J.D. Principal, Mary Alexander and Associates, P.C., specializing in personal injury, mass tort, class action, products liability elder abuse and wrongful death cases. In 2012, Ms. Alexander was inducted into the Trial Lawyer Hall of Fame of the California State Bar Litigation Section. In 2013, AAJ presented her with the Leonard Ring Champion of Justice Award for her continued dedication to human and civil rights. In 2019, she was awarded the CAOC’s Consumer Attorney of the Year.  In 2021, she was inducted into the LawDragon Hall of Fame.  She has been repeatedly named one of the “Top 10 Trial Attorneys” in the Bay Area by the San Francisco Chronicle. The California Daily Journal repeatedly named her one of the Top 100 Most Influential Lawyers in California, Top 35 Plaintiff Attorneys, Top Women Lawyers in California, as well as one of the Top 50 Women Litigators. She has been named a Northern California Super Lawyer each year since 2006. She is a member of: American Association for Justice (President, 2003); Consumer Attorneys of California (President, 1996); American Board of Trial Advocates since 1997; College of Master Advocates & Barristers (Senior Counsel); National Crime Victim Bar Association (President, 2012). Prior to her legal career, she was a research scientist in medical toxicology and director of environmental health at Stanford Research Institute.
